Autograph letter signed : Saybrook, Ohio, to Jacob Heaton "and Wife," 1876 Feb. 23.

Thanking him for his hospitality and praising Mrs. Heaton's fried mush. Describing his sons' participation in the Civil War, and reporting that one, who lost his right arm, is now a real estate and loan broker at 111 Broadway, New York, and that the other is a physician in Chicago and makes between $8,000 and $10,000 per annum. Praising Christ.
